Move page to English spelling
I suggest this page should be moved to the English spelling of the name. Since English contains no ê the name should be written accordingly as "Arne of Siphnos". A redirect from the current spelling to the new spelling will mean both spelling work when looking for the article.
Secondly, isn't Arne also known as Melanippe. I may be wrong, but if not the alternative name should be mentioned in the article and a redirect setup accordingly. Derek Harkness 13:12, 21 May 2007 (CDT)
- Quick answers: 1. Yes, it must be moved, but to "Arne Sithonis", because the historical connection to the island Siphnos is improbable; the whole article will be reworked accordingly; 2. The Melanippe is a different Arne (daughter of Aeolus); an article will be created here: Arne (mythology). The redirect from Melanippe should be set up for that article. —Arne Eickenberg 13:38, 21 May 2007 (CDT)
