Hi Nancy - just some thoughts on the section about Gait. I believe that all horses are gaited, just that some are gaited diagonally (generally those that trot)and some are lateral (those that pace and those that do whatever their breed "special" name is for it; i.e. corto, foxtrot, tolt, andadura,rack, running walk, etc.)- Janet

my question is, is that to teach us (me) a convenient shorthand, or is it something about the code that I should learn?
