Dr Adam Carr is a writer living in Melbourne, Australia. He holds a PhD in history from the University of Melbourne. He has worked as a journalist, editor and most recently as a speechwriter and advisor to a member of the Australian Parliament. His areas of interest are wide-ranging, but include Australian history and politics, Asian history, Third Reich and Holocaust history, ancient history, gay and lesbian issues, and electoral matters. He is the founder and editor of Psephos: Adam Carr's Electoral Archive - the world's largest online archive of electoral statistics.
