Cornel West is a leading African-American scholar, philosopher, civil rights activist, author, political critic and commentator. In 2010, Dr. West was the Class of 1943 University Professor at Princeton University where he taught in both the department of Religion and the Center for African American Studies. As of 2020, Dr. West is on the faculty at Harvard; he has also taught at Union Theological Seminary, Yale, and the University of Paris[1].
