W.[Willard] Cleon Skousen was a vocal American anticommunist activist, writer, and lecturer, who is often considered a father of current extreme conservatives. He was affiliated with the John Birch Society.
Law Enforcement
In his public appearances and writings, he often identified himself as a high official of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. While he did work as an FBI agent, the FBI denies his claims both that he was a key aide, and that he was an expert in Communism. [1]
