I am a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Emory University with a B.A. in history and women's studies, with a minor in English. (I was inducted into both the history and English national honor societies). While an undergraduate, I spent a summer abroad at Oxford studying British literature and history.  After graduation, I spent a year studying science and technology studies (history, philosophy,  & sociology of science & technology) at Cornell on a Sage Fellowship. I left graduate school to work in the information technology industry. After many more years han I care to admit, I acquired an M.S. from the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. I returned to my original love of history, and now I am studying history at Binghamton University, where my fields are modern American, science/technology/medicine, and women/gender/sexuality.
