Robert Bane is an art publisher and gallery owner, with Fabian Perez as artist and business partner, and wife and gallery operator Tamara Feuer - Bane.[1] It has specialized in the pin-up and glamour genres.
In 1984, the firm first published the work of Olivia de Berardinis, and the gallery opened with an a one-woman show for her in 1987. Subsequently, she ended her relationship in 2003 and began self-publishing in 2005. [2]
The Bane businesses began working with Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama in 1987. Subsequently, in the two trials under Hajime Sorayama v. Tamara Bane Gallery, the court awarded damages and injunctions to the artist. Liquidation sales are being conducted. [3]
