:The situation isn't at all clear. ARIN and some of the other regional registries have said that they won't honor such sales. You might think that would make no difference, but it's been suggested that some ISPs may refuse to route the address blocks if a registry blacklists them. [[User:Howard C. Berkowitz|Howard C. The situation isn't at all clear. ARIN and some of the other regional registries have said that they won't honor such sales.
