Hi José, I noticed that this article did not have any references and it was laid out in one large chunk. Did it come from anywhere in particluar that we should consider giving some credit to? Thanks for checking it out. --D. Matt Innis 07:14, 6 May 2008 (CDT) | Hi José, I noticed that this article did not have any references and it was laid out in one large chunk. Hi. Some months ago two proposals were presented, one concerning an "Internationalisation sandbox" and another about translation of approved articles . I went to the Proposals main page and to its associated subpages to find the result of those proposals (it says that they were assigned to the Executive Committee), but nothing. Is it possible that I missed the page were the results of those proposals were posted or they still haven't been analysed by the Executive Committee? --José Leonardo Andrade 13:15, 16 August 2008 (CDT) | |||
:These proposals have not yet been discussed by the Executive Council. I don't know what's happening. Your best chance is to ask the proposal driver (Pierre-Alain Gouanvic and Jens Mildner, respectively). I'm supposed to check that the proposals do not get stuck but I'm afraid I have been slack recently. -- Jitse Niesen 07:10, 18 August 2008 (CDT) |

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
You can find some more information about our collaboration groups if you follow this link CZ:Workgroups. You can always ask me on my talk page or others about how to proceed or any other question you might have.
Have fun and Happy editing!
I found it!
Hi José, I found out how to do the accent;) Thanks for making me do that! Let me know if there is anything else I can do. Enjoy. --Matt Innis (Talk) 08:41, 28 March 2007 (CDT)
good question!
That is most certainly a very good question! Most of those decisions are in the process of being made now on the forums [1]. You can get there by clicking on the Discussion forums link on the left sidebar. As far as uploading images from Commons, I think the most important thing is that they are licensed properly.. In other words, check to make sure that the author at the Commons properly identified where they got it and try and find out if it is public domain. Other than that, my knowledge is limited and I would rather you check the forums so that I don't mislead you. Let me know if you can't find what you are looking for! --Matt Innis (Talk) 10:42, 28 March 2007 (CDT)
Images
Hi. Thanks for your contributions to CZ! Please do me a huge favor and review the images you recently uploaded. One or more lack licensing information or has been uploaded from Wikimedia Commons and there is a problem with the author using a pseudonym. Please see Help:Images#Copyrights to determine the exact problem and kindly remedy this situation. Thanks! - Stephen Ewen 01:21, 2 April 2007 (CDT)
Franz Joseph Gall
Yes! I think. But if somebody browses the articles for Gall it should appear there too-under G. Can you fix it? I thank you. Shall I call you Jose? or a different name? (and can you teach me how to do the accent?) Nancy Nancy Sculerati 09:38, 2 April 2007 (CDT)
Nice article
I just wanted to say I enjoyed Henry the Navigator. That's my son's name so I had to read it. --Larry Sanger 13:15, 13 April 2007 (CDT)
Disambiguation
I put the speedy delete request on Vasco da Gama (disambiguation) because as far as I could see, there is only one de Gama-related page. There's no need for a disambiguation page until the pages on it are created, unless you are actively planning to start all those articles. See CZ:Naming_Conventions#Disambiguation_pages. Proposals results
Hi. Some months ago two proposals were presented, one concerning an "Internationalisation sandbox" [2] and another about translation of approved articles [3].
