Hi, I'm Mike Conley, a writer, and co-author of Earth is a Nuclear Planet: The Environmental Case for Nuclear Power[1] A lifelong science nerd, I became interested in nuclear power in 2010 and saw that the field was in dire need of writers who could explain the technology to the average reader.

I was born in Chicago and have been a resident of Southern California since 1967. The son of a career naval officer, I have lived in Yokohama, Oslo, Idaho, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Illinois, Maryland, Hawaii, and California, and have backpacked through Thailand and Cambodia.
