Amber Rudd has been Home Secretary since 2016.

The Home Secretary, formally the Secretary of State for the Home Department, is the senior British government minister who heads the Home Office and is responsible for immigration, policing, domestic security, and related issues. i.e. internal affairs. The Home Secretary is one of the Great Offices of State and thus one of the most important roles in the Government of the United Kingdom. The Home Secretary has been Amber Rudd since July 2016.
