Nouns and pronouns
Languages typically further subdivide nouns into noun classes to some degree. This phenomenon is only peripheral in English, seen in the distinction between pronouns in the third person singular; is this correct? I soubt whtehter pronouns are considered to be just a subcategory of nouns. See for example [1] Stefan Olejniczak 08:26, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
