In my opinion as an economics editor, this article falls well below the standard required for a Citizendium article, and it would be damaging to Citizendium's reputation to allow it to remain in its present form. Since its content is adequately covered in paragraph 2.1.1 of [[Financial system]] I recomend its deletion. | |||

This article was apparently written in Feb. 2007 by a student as part of a U. project and then slightly edited by two authors with no apparent expertise in the field. The first paragraph was parent nonsense and I have revised it. The rest of the article may well be more of the same -- could someone with some knowledge of the field take a look at it.
