Welcome to the Group Status page! Add yourself!

This page lists everyone using the Userinfo System. Its purpose is to clue us into each other's general plans, roles, and so forth, allowing us to coordinate our activity more efficiently.

This list is meant for everyone--not just editors, not just very active people--so please add yourself. We think you'll find it very useful. But how do you add yourself? When first getting started, it takes a little doing, but it's not too hard. Simply follow the complete instructions at CZ:Userinfo System.

See below for more about this page.

About this page

As more people add themselves to this system, it is likely that the page will become too large to load quickly enough (it draws on many templates, which slows down loading time). We will then, probably, split it into two or more pages, with easy navigation among them.

The full explanation of how this page works can be found at Userinfo System. In brief, you create an info file (it takes the form of a "template") for yourself, and then your info can show up in multiple places. For example, Joe Quick has a user info page for general CZ stuff and another one for Anthropology Workgroup activities. This info is then nicely displayed in three different places: Joe's userplan, the Anthropology Workgroup status page, and also the table above.

A technical explanation will appear on CZ:Userinfo System Documentation.
