Under construction: this will be a list of well-known restaurants from around the world.
- Don the Beachcomber's — a defunct Hollywood restaurant that originated the one-time Polynesian-themed tiki fad
- Ernie's — a defunct San Francisco restaurant that for many years epitomized fine food and service in an elegant, if bordello-like, fin-de-siècle ambiance
- Lawry's the Prime Rib — a roast beef restaurant in Beverly Hills, California, that has branches throughout the world
- McDonald's — a fast-food hamburger chain throughout the world
- Trader Vic's — the world's largest chain of exotically themed restaurants
