Good job!  It's a bug that still needs to be fixed.  If you see anyone else having this problem, do let them know to make a small edit and that should be able to work around it.  Looking forward to seeing your continued good work!  If you ever need a constable, you know where to find me;) --[[User:D. Citizendium Getting Started
Quick Start | About us | Help system | Start a new article | For Wikipedians

Tasks: start a new article • add basic, wanted or requested articles • add definitionsadd metadata • edit new pages

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!

speedy deletes

Hi Pat! Thanks for your help with the speedydeletes. If you could put them on the top of the article pages, that would help me. Thanks! By the way, we're working on the protocols for the priapus article. Thanks for brining that to our attention. --Matt Innis (Talk) 22:56, 4 April 2007 (CDT)

Re: Somerset College page

Pat, I wrote that page from scratch. I copied nothing from Wikipedia, however I did start the Wikipedia version, so there may be some similarities. I don't know if I should leave the speedy delete there or no, so for the time being I removed it.

Computer draft

Hey I threw a blurb up at User_talk:Pat_Palmer/Computer. Just letting you know... I think that's the right place to 'bang up' the draft before you take it live --Eric M Gearhart 07:14, 6 April 2007 (CDT)

Signing Discussion Comments

Hey just stopping by to let you know... usually in Talk pages people sign their comments... it makes it a lot easier to read because you can visually see the conversation flow, rather than having to flip back the the History page to see who said what when. --~~~~ is the shortcut to signing your comments... it's the little button that actually looks like a signature on the toolbar at the top. It just makes life easier.. I don't know why the MediaWiki software doesn't just automatically sign comments on talk pages come to think of it --Eric M Gearhart 04:33, 7 April 2007 (CDT)

Re:Hiatus

Well... good luck. Please get back on here when you're done.. I can count on one hand the number of active Computers authors on here lol. I'll try and work on the Computers/Draft some more --Eric M Gearhart 06:50, 9 April 2007 (CDT)

Re:Spaces and Parenthesis

Hey I added to the discussion over at Talk:Linux_distribution if you'd like to take a look --Eric M Gearhart 10:12, 9 April 2007 (CDT)

Going away

Haha, yes, I imagine by the time you come back, the entire Eric conspiracy will be controlling the world's information supply, brainwashing people into switching to Linux. hehehe :) --Joshua David Williams 11:10, 9 April 2007 (CDT)

Dual Channel

Yeah, honestly, I mean to go back to it and improve it and never really did. Feel free to trash it. -- ZachPruckowski (Speak to me) 22:46, 9 April 2007 (CDT)

Appoval of Linux article?

I see that you've expfressed some concerns over the first section, so I wanted to check with you before starting the approval process. Greg Woodhouse 21:04, 11 April 2007 (CDT)

Meaning of approval

When an article is approved, that version is frozen, and new draft page is created to handle work on the next version. It is also expected that it will be in publishable form (see CZ:Approval Process). Yes, I agree that the people developing these articles are pushing hard for approval (and I don't mean that in the negative sense of the word), perhaps prematurely. But I saw the call for approval, so I thought I should start looking at it. Greg Woodhouse 21:22, 11 April 2007 (CDT)

Byte

Pat,

Great job with the byte article! I've been at a loss of what to do with that one. :-) --Joshua David Williams 20:36, 23 April 2007 (CDT)

Do me a favor

Pat, would you do me a favor as I check the "from wikipedia" checkbox for users? Would you please recheck the box on Computer - making sure to make a small edit (or it won't stay)- and then save it. After that, would you take it back off again - making sure to make a small edit again. Let me know if it works now. Thanks! --Matt Innis (Talk) 21:09, 23 April 2007 (CDT)
