== A tip on references == | |||
Hi E.J.! Please look at the references now on [[Augmented reality (AR)]] and [[Victoria Chang]]. You'll see that I added information to them, including the title of the article, the author and date (if available), and last access date. This is a more typical way of doing references on a wiki, although the abbreviated ones you gave are usable. I think it's important to include the author's name (wouldn't you want that, if it were you?), and including title is useful if for some reason in the future, the link stops working. Sometimes the title can be used to find the same article at a different location and then fix the link. :Hi Pat! I've been using Wikimedia Commons when I can find usable images, and I had checked it to see if there were any images I could use for the Victoria Chang article, but there were none. It seemed like the image you added to the page was of a different person, so I removed it (this response is a couple of days late! Sorry!). Thank you for looking out for me! Welcome to Citizendium
E.J., welcome to the wiki! Please leave a note on my Talk page if you have any questions. Pat Palmer (talk) 15:51, 29 September 2023 (CDT)
Definitions
E.J., I added the Wii and Nintendo DS to Nintendo/Related Articles. If you could add a definition to Wii and Nintendo DS, that would make them show up better on the Related Article tab for Nintendo. The Definition can be located at the top of the of the Discussion tab; it is a separate page, and its only contents are a brief phrase (not a complete sentence) providing a quick definition. Look at Nintendo/Related Articles for examples of definitions; look at that page's code to see that the "r" template is being used to list related articles and their definitions. Template:Augmented reality (AR)/Metadata
Hello, EJ. Looks like you had a spot of bother with this template. I think I've sorted it and also provided a definition of sorts. Could you have a look and see if it's okay now?
If you need any help with metadata, please let me know. All the best. John (talk) 17:16, 15 January 2024 (CST)
