:There is not going to be a disambiguation of the album. 1) there is no film article yet and 2) the album by Led Zeppelin charted number 1 in various countries. It is more notable than that soundtrack. ::::I'm not fighting about it, I'm pointing out the notability of taxonomy. Movie soundtrack
How should disambiguation with the soundtrack album to the film with the same name be handled? There is (was) at least an LP of that soundtrack. Peter Schmitt 13:24, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- There is not going to be a disambiguation of the album. 1) there is no film article yet and 2) the album by Led Zeppelin charted number 1 in various countries. It is more notable than that soundtrack. Meg Ireland 13:59, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- And funnily enough there is no soundtrack article on wikipedia and nothing in their film article itself. Meg Ireland 14:02, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

- I'm not fighting about it, I'm pointing out the notability of taxonomy. If this is a soundtrack album it should be listed as 'How the West Was Won (soundtrack)', but given that wikipedia don't even have an article on it, it may as well be part of the film article instead that hasn't even been written. - Actually there is also another way to name it (which is also used on wikipedia). How the West Was Won: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. See wikipedia articles on The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album, and Grease: The Original Soundtrack from the Motion Picture. (I'm using examples from wikipedia here as we simply just don't have any soundtracks yet). You'll find standard practice though is, eg. 'O Brother, Where Art Thou? (soundtrack)', 'The Lion King (soundtrack)', 'High School Musical (soundtrack)' etc. Meg Ireland 15:16, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
