In pharmacology, diclofenac is "non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (NSAID) with antipyretic and analgesic actions. It is primarily available as the sodium salt."[1]

NSAIDs, especially diclofenac, may cause recurrence of vascular disease among patients with prior myocardial infarctions.[2]
