Hi Daniel! I see you took a shot at the subpages template :-) It looks daunting doesn't it! Don't worry, you did it right. Once you place it on the top of the article page and save, there will be a messy template. Look below the template and you will see a message to create the metadata page (click on that). It will take you to a new page and all you have to do then is put the name of the article next to pagename= . Save that page and you will see it looks good. Good luck, you can leave me a message if you like on my talk page. --Matt Innis (Talk) 08:03, 9 November 2007 (CST) | Hi Daniel! Hallo Daniel, I just noticed your h in Drenthe when I got your msg. I don't know much about rules in general and not about CZ rules in particular, so I'm not sure if we are supposed/permitted to start a workgroup. But if we can, why not? Occasionally I wrote about Nederland (Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht), but always added "geography workgroup". --Paul Wormer 06:50, 4 February 2008 (CST) | |||
Hi Daniel, (and you can call me Matt), Paul is right at this point - we can't just start a workgroup. We use categories differently here at CZ than at WP, basically to avoid the mass chaos that occurred. However, the system is still developing and your input is valuable. Start here and then go to the forums (the link is in the left hand column). If you start a conversation, someone will join in. You might try the geopgraphy workgroup forum as well. I'll keep an eye out for you and help you along in this endeavor, but if things don't seem to be working, let me know. --[[User:D. Matt Innis|D. Please note that while I do not edit daily, I do check my watchlist multiple times every day.
Currently only occasionally active on Citizendium. Got married on 10 December. Minimizing time behind PC now to be with wife (who, as it should be for a proper Hasidic Jew, does not use the internet...). --Daniel Breslauer 01:03, 31 December 2007 (CST)

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Matt Innis (Talk) 19:37, 7 November 2007 (CST)
Hi
This feels dumb. Why would you want me to leave you a message on your talk page? But anyway, Hi.
Subpages
