This is a list of a permanent crews assigned to the International Space Station (ISS). All permanent ISS crews are named "Expedition n", where n is sequentially increased with each expedition.
Expeditions have an average duration of half a year.  Resupply mission visitors and space tourists are not counted as expedition members.
The International Space Station is the most visited space station in the history of spaceflight. As of September 11, 2006, it has had 159 (non-distinct) visitors. Mir had 137 (non-distinct) visitors (see also Space station).
