Sasha Kvakic is a 27 year old construction manager and residential designer
living in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He holds a General Studies Diploma
from BC Open College and has completed courses through the Royal Architectural
Institute of Canada Syllabus and Camosun College.
In addition to his work in the building industry, Sasha has a long record of community involvement, including currently serving as president of the Tyee Housing Cooperative where his family resides. Over the past few years Sasha has also sat on the following boards and committees: the Tyee Cooperative Advisory Redevelopment Committee; Camosun College's Education Council, Student Society Board of Directors and Strategic Planning Committee; Victoria's Downtown Neighbourhood Association Board (treasurer); and the BC Young New Democrats.
Sasha is a frequent contributer to community debates on urban planning, natural resource use rights and social policy through letters to the editor, attendance at public meetings and participation in online fora.
