== Mention of Commonwealth in the lede ==
While New Zealand's membership of the Commonwealth is certainly worth mentioning somewhere in the article, I don't think that it's particularly a defining feature of the country any more, since NZ's relationship with the United Kingdom is becoming less relevant with each passing year. When I get a moment, I will expand somewhat on the history section, including some stuff about NZ's colonial history, and I think that perhaps the reference to the Commonwealth would be better mentioned in relation to that than in the lede. Mention of Commonwealth in the lede

While New Zealand's membership of the Commonwealth is certainly worth mentioning somewhere in the article, I don't think that it's particularly a defining feature of the country any more, since NZ's relationship with the United Kingdom is becoming less relevant with each passing year. When I get a moment, I will expand somewhat on the history section, including some stuff about NZ's colonial history, and I think that perhaps the reference to the Commonwealth would be better mentioned in relation to that than in the lede.
