It's railways from north to south, and all of the larger places are connected to the railway system. One of the main roads of Norway cross the county and follows the railway. In Langstein (north of Stjørdal) both the road and the railway pass a small egde of land, and if someone destroy the place they have divided Norway in two parts. Therefore, an extra road was built by [[NATO]] in the 1970's. The so-called "NATO-road" is just for military use.

Nord-Trøndelag ("Northern Trøndelag") is one of Norway's 19 counties. The county seat is Steinkjer, and the largest cities are Steinkjer, Stjørdal, Namsos, Levanger, and Verdal.

Politics
