I am a Software Engineer, currently working for deCarta, a vendor of platform solutions for mapping technology and location-based services. I works on the data team on data process automation and web development. For reasons of work, I live in San Jose, California, but hail from the Pacific Northwest and call it my true home.
I was formerly Secretary of the Pacific Green Party of Oregon and an elected member of the State Coordinating Committee, positions I gave up to move to the Silicon Valley.
I also volunteer time for Source Mage GNU/Linux, where I have contributed thousands of patches over five years and am an elected Elder. I held elected positions such as Security Team Leader and QA Team Leader in my years of volunteering for Source Mage.
My interests include Systems Theory, Evolution, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Decentralized Socialism, Sustainability, Green Politics, and Ethology.
