Bio: I'm a recent graduate in English Literature from Brown University. I've spent the past year working in the non-profit sector for The MacDowell Colony and The New Press. I previously worked as a web design teacher (Brown Computer Education), an SAT tutor (Harlem Children's Zone), a new media intern (Studio One Networks), an editor and designer for some college publications (The College Hill Independent, post-/Brown Daily Herald, Watershed Journal), a small town reporter, a farm laborer, a dishwasher, a hapless soccer referee, and many other fanciful jobs. I'm especially interested in exploring how technology, art, and the Internet can be used for community building and social activism. My non-academic interests include basketball, short fiction, foreign films, and lolcats.
