Walter Beaman Jones, Sr. (1913-1992), was a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from North Carolina from 1966 until his death. For more than a decade he chaired the House Merchant Marine and Fisheries Committee.

His son, Walter B. Jones, Jr., is also a representative, first elected in 1994.
