I would start by removing #4 because it is too vague and there are times that we all have to be gone. I am open to other suggestions as well.

All official posts shall be subject to the following conditions:

  1. All Citizens shall be eligible.
  2. The term of office shall be two years, renewable. The term of any replacement shall end when the original term ends.
  3. No Citizen may serve in two offices at the same time.
  4. Each Council or official may appoint delegates to perform specific tasks for a specific period of time.
  5. The responsibility for the actions of a delegate shall always remain with the appointing Council or official.

"Office" is defined in Article 17. "Editor" is not an office.
See also Article 30, where I've moved #'s 4&5 above. Russell D. Jones 00:44, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
Are all Citizens able to be the ME? I thought it was an editor? D. Matt Innis 00:47, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
Right. Good catch. I think this came about as a result of trying to consolidate like-minded stuff. We have to scratch point one and put into each office who is eligible. I've stricken the eligibility clause below and moved the delegation of powers clause.Russell D. Jones 00:54, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

All official posts shall be subject to the following conditions:

1. All Citizens shall be eligible.
1. The term of office shall be two years, renewable. The term of any replacement shall end when the original term ends.
2. No Citizen may serve in two offices at the same time.
3. Each Council or official may appoint delegates to perform specific tasks for a specific period of time. Moved to Article 30

4. The responsibility for the actions of a delegate shall always remain with the appointing Council or official. Moved to Article 30

I'm thinking also that this these two points should be moved to Article 17. Russell D. Jones 12:55, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Agree with the move. D. Matt Innis 13:42, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
