That was from his U.S. Senate biography, but I'll check farther. I only have vague personal recollections of the 1960 election. With no research on the subject, I would be surprised if he and Nixon didn't have intensely clashing personalities. Howard C. Berkowitz 19:23, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
