This article seems like it is ready for prime time to me. It is well written, appropriately illustrated, and provides a solid overview of a technical topic in a way that I was able to understand without prior knowledge of the topic. The cluster of supplemental tabs each contain relevant information. [[User:Christine Bush|Christine Bush]] 17:29, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

:I suggest that this topic is better addressed from the mechanical side while presenting its operational variables, eg. [http://books.google.co.in/books?id=7EfrOq5nL8sC]. Overall the article would also benefit from many more in-line citations and/or direct quotations for statements like "''Hyperboloid (or hyperbolic) cooling towers have become essentially the design standard for natural-draft cooling towers because of their structural strength and minimum usage of material.''".[[User:Claus Bruentrup|Claus Bruentrup]] 11:00, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia has an article of the same name

I was one of the major contributoirs to the Wikipedia article. Since the WP article had expanded to include material that would be best covered in separate article, I completely re-wrote and re-formatted it before installing it here in CZ.

The three photographs and the two diagrams are not the same as in the WP article. I uploaded the new photographs into CZ myself and I drew the new diagrams and uploaded them into CZ as well.

There may be some few bits of content that are the same as in the WP article, but in most cases I was the original author of those bits. In my opinion, I think the CZ article is more balanced and more coherent than the WP article. Milton Beychok 15:56, 5 March 2008 (CST)

This article seems like it is ready for prime time to me. It is well written, appropriately illustrated, and provides a solid overview of a technical topic in a way that I was able to understand without prior knowledge of the topic. The cluster of supplemental tabs each contain relevant information. Christine Bush 17:29, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

I suggest that this topic is better addressed from the mechanical side while presenting its operational variables, eg. [1]. Overall the article would also benefit from many more in-line citations and/or direct quotations for statements like "Hyperboloid (or hyperbolic) cooling towers have become essentially the design standard for natural-draft cooling towers because of their structural strength and minimum usage of material.".Claus Bruentrup 11:00, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
