Since 1990, I have been employed as communications writer at the National Film Board of Canada's HQ in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I have worked professionally as a screenwriter, with writing credits on two documentaries by Montreal-based. Rezolution Pictures. I have a Masters Degree in English Literature from McGill University. I was born in Montreal in 1958.

I have contributed to Wikipedia as "Shawn in Montreal," but as of February 6, 2008 I have resigned from that project and am resolved to devoting all of my free time to Citizendium. I work two jobs so there are limits to how much time I can devote, but am enjoying being a part of something new and different.
