Not on a subpage, but on a template. The contents of [[Biology/Definition]] is "<nowiki>{{defpage}}</nowiki>". That template then intelligently looks up the name of the referring page (so, "Biochemistry") and looks at the {{Tl|Def Biochemistry}} template. It's a little complicated, but it's also very elegant I think. --[[User:Larry Sanger|Larry Sanger]] 00:29, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
:Yes, pretty cool...but maybe needlessly difficult and hard to require standardized usage? It seems to require an extra step without any real benefit over just entering the definition on the subpage. Or am I missing something? —[[User:Stephen Ewen|Stephen Ewen]] [[User talk:Stephen Ewen|(Talk)]] 00:46, 7 July 2007 (CDT)

Ah, great idea...no need for a huge separate project to at least cover entries with articles, just place a dictionary definition right on a subpage! —Stephen Ewen (Talk) 23:38, 6 July 2007 (CDT)
Not on a subpage, but on a template. The contents of Biology/Definition is "{{defpage}}". That template then intelligently looks up the name of the referring page (so, "Biochemistry") and looks at the {{ }} template. It's a little complicated, but it's also very elegant I think. --Larry Sanger 00:29, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
