Hi Harold, thanks for the response on my talk page. In order to avoid copyright infringement claims, you can use a message at the top of the talk page something like the one [http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Talk:Pittsburgh,_History_since_1800 here]. It would be even more helpful if you could locate the exact version at wikipedia that you created and linked it here. That way there would be no question a few years from now when someone tries to say that Wikipedia is due credit. Thanks for your hard work! [[User:D. Matt Innis|D. Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
You can find some more information about our collaboration groups if you follow this link CZ:Workgroups. You can always ask me on my talk page or others about how to proceed or any other question you might have.
Have fun and Happy editing!

Prime ideals
Dear Harald, thank you for your contributions, especially those to number theory. They are great. I came across your name because you added something to our article on prime numbers. Specifically, the following sentence intrigued me: "Algebraic integers factorize uniquely into prime ideals". Given your background, I'm sure you know what you're talking about, but I'd have thought that a prime ideal is a certain kind of ideal, thus a set, and it seems strange to factor a number in sets. I'm just mentioning it on the off-chance that you may have overlooked something.
Anyway, I hope that you'll continue to contribute. It would be great if you could finish the article on number theory. Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you with that — I haven't even done a single course on number theory. If you have any questions about the organization or the software though, I'll be happy to help. I'm also an editor in mathematics, meaning that I can approve articles, so please let me know if you're reasonably happy with an article. Incidentally, I had a short look at your home page and I'm sure that you will also become an editor if you apply for it. But above all, I hope you'll enjoy yourself here.
Best wishes,

Welcome, new editor! We're very glad you've joined us. Here are pointers for a quick start. Also, when you get a chance, please read The Editor Role. You can look at Getting Started and our help system for other introductory pages. It is also important, for project-wide matters, to join the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list. Announcements are also available via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and thank you! We appreciate your willingness to share your expertise, and we hope to see your edits on Recent changes soon. --Larry Sanger 10:05, 2 December 2007 (CST)

Well, I see you were working away on party day, which makes you one of the shy boys. I’ll have to come and drag you in next month! Aleta Curry 23:44, 9 December 2007 (CST)
Reinforcements
Hi Harald. A new editor specializing in number theory just joined us: Barry R. Smith. Hopefully, you'll together be able to write and approve some nice articles. -- Jitse Niesen 08:51, 27 March 2008 (CDT)

Approvals?
There area number of articles in cryptography that may be near approval. list. Some, such as RSA and discrete logarithm, really need a math editor to improve or approve them. Sandy Harris 04:58, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Welcome back
Welcome back! It could be nice to have three active math editors; yesterday we had only two :-) Boris Tsirelson 18:05, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
bio
Hello. Even if you are inactive you still need your bio, don't you? (Chunbum Park 14:57, 11 October 2011 (UTC))
Hi Harold, yes, since you've been active here and made some big contributions, we'll need to keep an active bio on your user page. If you'd like to update it, that would be fine. Otherwise, I can replace the previous version for you. D. Matt Innis 17:32, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
