I've written this from scratch.  Boy, I'm not really thrilled on the name of this railroad; first, there's not a lot of documentation I've been able to get hold of yet; second, of the two relatively good sources so far, one had Philadelphia and Columbia, the other had Columbia and Philadelphia.  I like ''The Amazing Pennsylvania Canals'' as a source better, so sticking with that.  Further, the historical marker web page has ''The Columbia-Philadelphia Railroad and its Successor'' as a source.  Well, there you go then.  I'll be seeing if I can dig up more information, particularly on its use after the PRR bought it.
