|description  = Front cover of a Richard Condon novel
|author      = Unknown, but scanned by Hayford Peirce
|copyright    = Unknown but almost certainly Fawcett Crest, the book's publisher
|source      = Front cover of a book owned by Hayford Peirce and scanned by him
|date-created = scanned on 20 April 2010, from a book published by Fawcett Crest in 1965
|pub-country  = United States, both for the book publication and the scanning
|notes        = This scan is from the front cover of "An Infinity of Mirrors" by Richard Condon, a Fawcett Crest paperback published in 1965. The front cover is presumably copyrighted by Fawcett Crest, but as it is descriptive publicity for the book in question, it is presumably usable here under the Fair Use doctrine. I scanned it myself on 20 April 2010. It is to illustrate the subject of a Citizendium article in a way that words alone could not convey. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of book covers to illustrate an article discussing the book in question qualifies as Fair Use under United States copyright law. Other use of this image, however, on Citizendium or elsewhere, might be considered copyright infringement.
