:Do we want articles on every single year, with the "notable events" like on Wikipedia? I've made a major cleanup, removing unsourced speculation about the Catholic Church "fixing" AD, and improving on the history. I was tempted to remove the "notable events" section, but left them for now. I've made a major cleanup, removing unsourced speculation about the Catholic Church "fixing" AD, and improving on the history. I was tempted to remove the "notable events" section, but left them for now. Anthony Argyriou 16:16, 1 March 2007 (CST)
The A.D. system isn't obsolete
The A.D. calendar system isn't obsolete,as it is still commonly used in the Protestant churches. - (Aidan Work 05:47, 1 February 2007 (CST))
Moreover it's used in preference in at least Britain. 'Dragon' Dave McKee 17:54, 9 February 2007 (CST)
- I've rewritten the article to remove references to AD's "obsolescence". Anthony Argyriou 16:16, 1 March 2007 (CST)
