My interests are broad, unfortunatelly in inverse proportion to the time I have to spend on them: I am fascinated just with the Cosmos, the Life and the Human. So, I study mainly Astronomy (Planetary), Biology (Evolution), Palaeoanthropology (Pre-History), History (Ancient) and Philosophy (Western). I may be able to do small contributions to articles in all these field, as my time permits.

I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.

I am a Brazilian man on my 30s. I have a Bachelor degree in Informatics by the Rio de Janeiro State University, but I do not work in the field anymore. Currently I am a bureaucratic Federal Government Employee. I intend to begin another graduation course in Astronomy by the Rio de Janeiro Federal University soon.

I am also a contributor to Portuguese Wikipedia, under the username Sairjohn. But my most serious texts are collected in my blog in Portuguese, Blog do Serjão.
