Want to help, but don't know quite what to do?

You've come to the right place. Here is a list of general tasks that "worker bees" can help with.

Tagging and cleaning up

  • CZ Live. Add [[Category:CZ Live]] to articles that you see other people working on, if they lack this essential tag. Just scan through recent changes (on your left, under "project pages") and, when someone starts a new article, or works on an article that is unfamiliar to you, check to see if it has that category.
  • Place in workgroup categories. Add [[Category:X Workgroup]] to articles that are not yet filed under a workgroup. Look at the list of workgroups. Assign articles to all essentially related workgroups. For difficult cases, see Policy on Assigning Articles to Workgroups.
  • Remove Wikipedia templates and categories. Wikipedia uses a whole bunch of templates and categories that we don't use. Remove all category information from all articles, in anticipation of a complete overhaul of the category system. As to templates, "when in doubt, throw it out." See how to convert Wikipedia articles to Citizendium articles.

Content tasks

  • Get rid of orphans.

To do (lms): move links to nonexistent pages to the policy outline and project home; also, explain policy re link placement on project home and policy outline!
