The Musikverein or, more precisely, Musikvereinsgebäude is a building in the centre of Vienna. It is the seat of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien, one of the two major musical societies in Vienna. Its great hall (Großer Musikvereinssaal), also called the "Golden Hall" (Goldener Saal), is one of the world's most renowned concert halls, famous for its good acoustics.
