"A primary factor of production is one that is produced or given outside the economy".[1]

Although Land Economics does not seem to be an eccapted sub discipline of economics, there is a wide ranging literature discussing the role of land as a primary factor of production. [2] [3]

From Land Economics journal:"Land Economics is dedicated to the study of land use, natural resources, public utilities, housing, and urban land issues."
